Eckington Bridge is a red sandstone bridge over the River Avon in Worcestershire. The current bridge was built in the 1720s and consists of six arches.
Birnbeck Pier, in Weston Supermare is the only pier in the UK which links the mainland to an island, Birnbeck Island. The pier has been closed to the public since 1994.
The Grand Pier at Weston-super-Mare was originally opened in 1904. It was damaged by fire in 1930 and again in July 2008 when it was completely destroyed. The new pier was rebuilt at a cost of £39 million. This picture was taken in July 2009, one year on from the fire and just over a year before its reopening on 23 October 2010.
